What They AreMale revues (a.k.a: all-male revues, strip shows, or male burlesque shows) are fundamentally just like any other kind of LIVE performance entertainment. Local establishments such as nightclubs, bars, and even restaurants and hotels enlist the services of known male stripping organizations, or "dancer troops," to entertain an adult audience for roughly 2 hours. Revues are often coupled with other performances, such as psychics, hypnotists, and adult toy vendors, which arrive earlier in the evening as warm-ups. Management agrees upon the show's date and time, advertisements go out, and tickets to the show are usually made available online and/or at the door. Please keep in mind that Men in Motion male revues are very punctual, starting on time as advertised. It is recommended that you and your party arrive 30 minutes early for optimum seating. And as always, all Men in Motion shows are 18+ and 21 to drink.
What You Can ExpectAll male strip shows begins with the introduction of the M.C., or "Master of Ceremonies." He is the one who, in effect, loosens up the crowd for the strippers before they hit the stage (commonly 3 to 5 strippers at any given show). The M.C. then informs party-goers about the show's structure, the dancer's routines, audience participation, and available merchandise (calendars, autographed photos, T-shirts, polaroids, etc). Occasionally, there are also in-house raffles, give-aways, and more. Once the crowd is ready, the M.C. introduces the first dancer, who then performs his routine, with the M.C. returning only between dance sets to keep the action going until the next guy is ready to go on. The show usually concludes with some kind of finale -a group routine or all the strippers being let loose into the crowd at the same time. Raffles and give-aways follow. Polaroids are then taken, after which the dancers autograph.
What You Need To KnowMost shows begin at 9:00pm. However, specific details for all the our revues can be found on the calendar page. For small get-togethers of 2 to 4 people, no prior reservations are necessary. For large parties of 5 or more, please consider making reservations by contacting either the club, bar, or restaurant directly. Or just call us. And please let us know if you'll be celebrating anything that evening. At most show, bachelorettes and birthday girls, and their friends, get special attention by the dancers and establishment. You may also arrange for special favors, like the Men in Motion "Hot Seat" -her special moment on stage. Or you can have a dancer bring out a birthday cake.
